Chad J. Julius

Chad J. Julius is a Partner at Jacobson, Julius & Harshberger and serves as Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy Department. He represents individuals, families, and businesses across Pennsylvania in complex legal matters involving bankruptcy, real estate, estate planning, corporate law, contracts, and civil litigation. Known for his practical and solutions-focused approach, Mr. Julius works closely with clients to understand their goals and guide them through challenging legal situations with clarity and care.

Mr. Julius earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, graduating in the top tier of his class. Before law school, he obtained a B.S. in Business from York College of Pennsylvania, with minors in marketing and human resources. His academic background in both law and business allows him to approach legal issues with a strong understanding of financial structure, operations, and long-term planning.

Mr. Julius began his legal career at Morgan, Lewis and Bockius, LLP in Washington, D.C., where he worked in the employee benefits practice group. He later joined Jacobson, Julius & Harshberger, where he has built a diverse practice serving clients throughout Central Pennsylvania and beyond. His experience includes representing consumers in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, family farmers in Chapter 12 cases, and small businesses in Chapter 11 filings. He also handles bankruptcy litigation, debt restructuring, foreclosures, and real estate transactions.
