Cathy Norwood

Cathy Norwood is a managing partner and litigation attorney at Norwood & Norwood, P.A. She helps people facing criminal charges in Northwest Arkansas. For more than 25 years, she has worked to protect clients from jail time, serious penalties, and lasting harm to their records and futures.

Cathy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas. She later earned her J.D. from the University of Arkansas as well. Before law school, she worked in computer science. After marrying Doug Norwood, she chose a new career in law and joined Norwood & Norwood, P.A. in 1995.

Cathy has handled cases for many thousands of clients charged with serious crimes. She understands how a criminal charge can affect work, family, and daily life. She works hard to ease that stress by negotiating with prosecutors and seeking strong results before a case reaches trial whenever possible.

Cathy has negotiated the dismissal of thousands of charges for clients in Northwest Arkansas. She focuses on DWI and criminal defense law. She is a member of the Washington County Bar Association, Benton County Bar Association, Arkansas Bar, and Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, serving clients with steady care.
