Angela Hyde

Angela Hyde is a partner and litigation attorney at Norwood & Norwood, P.A. She helps people charged with crimes in Northwest Arkansas. With years of courtroom experience, she draws on her knowledge of criminal law, prosecutors, and law enforcement procedures to fight hard for clients and seek great results every day.

Angela earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas. She then earned her J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville. During law school, she began working with the Innocence Project and continued that work after she graduated with a strong interest and care.

Angela worked for many years as a prosecuting attorney in Northwest Arkansas. She prosecuted cases in Washington County Circuit Court, Fayetteville District Court, Springdale District Court, Elkins District Court, Prairie Grove District Court, and other courts. This background gives her strong insight into how criminal cases are handled each day.

Angela joined Norwood & Norwood, P.A. after Doug Norwood observed her skills as a prosecuting attorney. She had handled hundreds of cases involving the firm and respected how hard it fought for clients. Today, she uses that same drive in felony, DWI, and criminal defense cases with clear purpose daily.

Angela is a SuperLawyer Rising Star. She is also Vice-President of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Her other professional affiliations include the Benton County Bar Association, Washington County Bar Association, and Arkansas Bar Association, as well as federal Western District of Arkansas licensing, demonstrating her strong legal involvement today.

Angela Hyde has lived in Northwest Arkansas since 2001, though she is a native of Searcy, Arkansas. Her work reflects care, preparation, and a passion for helping people charged with serious crimes each day.
