Alison Lee

Alison Lee is a partner and litigation attorney at Norwood & Norwood, P.A. She has focused on criminal defense and appellate work for over a decade. She has handled more than 1,000 felony and misdemeanor cases and works to ease clients’ fears during the legal process with steady professional care.

Alison earned her J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law. She also earned her B.A. in Honors English from the University of Arkansas. Her strong education helps her understand complex legal issues and write clear arguments with confidence for people facing criminal charges, appeals, and hard choices today.

Alison has been with Norwood & Norwood, P.A. for the majority of her legal career. Doug and Cathy Norwood hand-picked her over 13 years ago after hearing rave reviews from other lawyers about her skill. She uses creativity and legal knowledge to achieve strong results for clients in court.

Alison is licensed in Arkansas, the Federal Western District of Arkansas, and the Federal Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has argued cases in most courtrooms in Northwest Arkansas and before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her appellate work gives clients another strong level of legal support in court.

Alison has been named a SuperLawyers Rising Star and a SuperLawyer. She is President of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law, and a member of the Benton County Bar Association, Washington County Bar Association, and Arkansas Bar Association.

Alison Lee gives back through community work and family life. She is Board President of the Buffalo River Foundation and a member and Fundraising Chair of the Committee of 100 for the Ozark Folk Center.
