About
Carlye Reynolds is a passionate personal injury and civil rights attorney at Ven Johnson Law, where she focuses on representing survivors of sexual abuse and assault. Her work includes a groundbreaking $138.7 million settlement against the U.S. Department of Justice on behalf of survivors of Dr. Larry Nassar’s abuse.
Carlye earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law in 2021. During law school, she participated in the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute and the Chance at Childhood Clinic. She also worked as a research assistant and served as a mentor to fellow law students.
Before law school, Carlye graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2016. While completing her undergraduate studies, she was a member of the University of Georgia Bulldogs women’s soccer team, balancing academic excellence with her athletic commitment.
Carlye launched her legal career as a law clerk for Magistrate Judge David R. Grand in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, building a strong foundation in complex litigation. She then sharpened her trial and advocacy skills at a leading full-service Michigan law firm. In 2024, Carlye joined Ven Johnson Law, where she continues to aggressively advocate for victims of injustice and fight for meaningful results.
Carlye is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Michigan Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the National Crime Victim Bar Association. Her legal practice emphasizes transparency, accountability, and compassionate client support throughout the legal process.
