Holland Locklear

Holland Locklear is a dedicated trial attorney and Detroit native committed to fighting for justice on behalf of his community. He has successfully represented thousands of clients in civil litigation, securing millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements across various areas, including personal injury, civil rights, and employment law cases.

Holland earned his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School after completing his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University. While in law school, he held leadership roles in the National Lawyers Guild and Damon J. Keith Students for Civil Rights, earning honors such as the National Lawyers Guild Law Student of the Year and the Silver Key Award.

Admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and both federal district courts in the state, Holland has litigated a wide range of cases involving auto accidents, police misconduct, wrongful termination, discrimination, and premises liability. He also handles contract disputes, landlord/tenant issues, and government accountability claims.

Holland’s legal career includes externships and fellowships with prominent advocacy organizations, including the ACLU of Michigan and the Sugar Law Center for Economic and Social Justice. He also served as a judicial intern for Judge Victoria A. Roberts of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, gaining invaluable insight into the federal court system.
