About
Christopher Putrycus is an accomplished attorney at Marko Law, where he focuses on research and appellate advocacy in civil rights, personal injury, and employment law. A Detroit native, he is deeply committed to delivering justice for clients throughout Michigan, using his strong legal writing and litigation support skills to strengthen every case he touches.
Christopher earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2020, graduating in the top 10% of his class. He previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, also magna cum laude, from the same institution. His academic achievements earned him a full Fellows Scholarship and membership in the prestigious Frank Murphy Honor Society.
While in law school, Christopher served as Title Editor of the Detroit Mercy Law Review and authored a published Note advocating for civil asset forfeiture reform. He also gained valuable experience through internships and clerkships, including a Judicial Internship with the Federal Pro Se Clinic, where his drafted summary judgment motion that was granted in federal court by Judge Bernard A. Friedman.
Before joining Marko Law in 2024, Christopher spent three years assisting criminal defense attorneys with a wide range of legal matters, helping manage over 100 open cases. His work included drafting motions, proposed orders, and legal memoranda, sharpening his courtroom writing and case analysis skills.
Christopher is admitted to practice in Michigan and is proud to serve his hometown community. At Marko Law, he contributes to the firm’s nationally recognized success in high-profile verdicts and settlements by crafting persuasive arguments that uphold clients’ rights and dignity.
