Caleb Mason is an accomplished trial and appellate attorney with a proven record of success in complex criminal and civil litigation. Based in Los Angeles, he brings over 15 years of experience handling high-stakes cases in both federal and state courts across the country. From investigation through trial and appeal, Mason represents clients with precision and dedication, drawing on his background as a former Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of California.
Mason holds a B.A. from Colby College (1995), a Ph.D. from Columbia University (2001), and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center (2005), where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Georgetown Law Journal.
After law school, Mason clerked for Judge D. Michael Fisher on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Since then, he has built a respected legal career focused on trial and appellate advocacy. He has argued before courts at every level and frequently handles complex legal issues involving civil rights, criminal defense, and constitutional law.

As part of his public service, Mason served two terms on the City of Claremont Police Commission and has acted as a Judge Pro Tempore in the Los Angeles County Superior Court since 2017. He is an active member of the Ninth Circuit’s Criminal Justice Act and Pro Bono panels, where he has represented numerous indigent clients in criminal, immigration, and civil rights matters.
