C. Ed Massey

C. Ed Massey has practiced law in the Tri-State area for more than 30 years, representing clients in Bankruptcy Law, Criminal Law, Domestic Law, Military Law, Educational Law, Workers’ Compensation, Social Security, and Personal Injury matters. He is licensed in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin, along with several federal courts.

Ed earned a B.S. from Eastern Kentucky University in 1989, where he studied Police Administration and completed a minor in Business. He later received a J.D. from Northern Kentucky University, Salmon P. Chase College of Law. His academic background helped build a practical understanding of legal and public service work.

Ed handles a wide range of legal matters for individuals and families facing difficult situations. His work in Bankruptcy Law, Domestic Law, Criminal Law, and Personal Injury cases reflects decades of courtroom and negotiation experience. He also assists clients with Social Security and Workers’ Compensation claims throughout different stages of litigation.

Ed has extensive experience in education and public leadership through many years of service connected to Kentucky schools. He served on the Boone County Board of Education from 1996 through 2018 and later represented Kentucky House District 66. During that time, he worked as the Judiciary Chairman and Vice-Chairman.

Ed has also contributed to several professional and community organizations connected to law and education. He is associated with the Kentucky Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association, and Chase Inn of Court. His service also includes work with the Kentucky PTA and the National School Boards Association.

Ed is admitted to practice before numerous state and federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals 6th Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals 7th Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. His broad admissions allow him to assist clients across different jurisdictions while addressing complex legal matters with steady guidance.

C. Ed Massey continues to represent clients with an approach focused on preparation, communication, and long-term solutions. His legal career has included work in courts, public service, and educational leadership, giving him experience across many areas of law.
