Kenneth E. Goolsby has practiced law in the Hampton Roads area since 2013. He began his career working mostly in family law, but later found his passion in helping people facing financial stress. Today, his practice focuses on helping individuals seek relief through the United States Bankruptcy Code.
Kenneth earned his law degree in 2013 from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. While in law school, he served as an editor on the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Interest. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Boston University in 2009.
Kenneth helps clients understand their options during hard financial times. His work focuses mainly on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. He guides people through the legal process and helps them use the protections available under bankruptcy law to work toward a fresh financial start.
Kenneth has filed more than 2,000 bankruptcy cases during his legal career. He has successfully represented individuals in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 proceedings. His experience allows him to help clients address debt concerns with steady guidance, clear information, and practical legal support.
Kenneth is originally from Gainesville, Georgia. After graduating from law school, he moved to Hampton Roads and began building his legal career there. Since then, he has served local clients facing serious financial problems and seeking a path to relief.
