C. Christian Young

Christian Young is a principal at Cohen and Wolf, P.C., where he represents individuals and organizations in criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation. He is widely recognized for his ability to handle complex matters ranging from criminal trials to high-stakes personal injury claims. His practice reflects a commitment to protecting rights, pursuing justice, and delivering results for his clients.

Christian earned his Bachelor of Arts from Calvin College in 1995 before completing his Juris Doctor at Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1998. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. His accomplishments have earned him recognition in Best Lawyers in America® for both criminal defense and personal injury litigation, as well as repeated honors from Connecticut Super Lawyers® and Martindale-Hubbell’s AV® Preeminent™ rating.

In criminal defense, Christian represents clients facing allegations ranging from juvenile offenses, assault, and firearms violations to embezzlement, trafficking, and homicide. In personal injury, he advocates for individuals harmed by negligence in motor vehicle accidents, premises liability claims, and hazardous conditions. He also handles contract disputes, commercial litigation, and represents clients in administrative hearings before the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Beyond his litigation practice, Christian has contributed to the legal community as a guest lecturer on constitutional law and firearms laws. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Fairfield County Bar Association, Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, and the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Active in civic life, he has served on the Ansonia/Milford Grievance Panel and currently serves on the Town of Orange Board of Education.
