Ari J. Hoffman

Ari J. Hoffman is the Managing Partner of Cohen and Wolf, P.C., where he represents businesses, municipalities, universities, non-profits, and individuals across a wide range of litigation matters. Known as both a trusted counselor and an effective advocate, he brings extensive experience in commercial trial work, securities disputes, contract litigation, intellectual property, premises liability, and real estate conflicts. He is also highly skilled in arbitration and mediation, frequently representing clients before the American Arbitration Association and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

Ari earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Brandeis University in 1996 before completing his Juris Doctor at Boston College Law School in 2000. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits, as well as the U.S. Tax Court. His career achievements have earned him repeated recognition in Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation, Benchmark Litigation for securities, and inclusion in Connecticut Super Lawyers.

In addition to his litigation work, Ari chairs the firm’s Common Interest Communities Group. He advises communities of all sizes on governance, document review, contract preparation, charge collection, and representation in hearings and court proceedings. He is also a frequent speaker, educating boards of directors on applicable laws and best practices in community management.
