About
Brian P. Creech is Of Counsel at Sheehey Furlong & Behm in Burlington, Vermont. He joined the firm in February 2026 and focuses primarily on civil litigation and real estate transactions. He advises businesses, property owners, homeowners’ associations, and cooperatives on operational concerns. His practice also covers estate planning and probate matters, including contested and uncontested estate and trust administration.
Brian earned a J.D. from Vermont Law School in 2005 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western Carolina University in 2001. During law school, he participated in the Moot Court Competition and served on the Moot Court Advisory Board. His moot court participation and advisory board service complement a practice that includes contested property and contract matters, where written submissions and oral advocacy are part of presenting a client’s claims or defenses.
Brian handles residential and commercial evictions, property disputes, contract disputes, and collections for plaintiffs and defendants. He also assists with commercial and residential real estate transactions. Before joining Sheehey, he practiced at Doremus Kantor & Zullo from 2012 to 2026 and worked at Legal Services Vermont. Earlier, he served as a contract attorney at several Washington, D.C. firms and gained experience through legal internships.
Brian P. Creech is admitted in Vermont and before the United States District Court for the District of Vermont. His work spans both disputes and transactions, allowing clients to seek assistance with immediate litigation and ongoing property or business concerns. Effective representation in these settings requires attention to documents, procedural requirements, and the practical consequences of an agreement or court ruling for the people involved.
