Elise Gross

Elise Gross is Of Counsel at Weiss, Handler & Cornwell, P.A. in Boca Raton, Florida. She has focused her practice on trusts and estates for more than 25 years, including the preparation and administration of wills and trusts and probate administration. Gross also advises individuals and businesses on comprehensive estate and asset protection planning, helping clients organize their affairs, preserve assets, and address long-term planning objectives.

Gross earned her J.D. from New York Law School in 1992 after receiving her B.A. from Florida International University. She went on to earn an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law’s Heckerling Program in 1993. Her advanced training in estate planning supports her work involving trusts, probate, asset protection, and wealth transfer strategies. She is admitted to practice in both Florida and New York.

Gross has served as Of Counsel to multiple law firms since 2011, representing individuals and businesses with estate and asset protection matters. Her work includes drafting and administering wills and trusts, guiding clients through probate administration, and developing planning structures designed around family and financial circumstances. This experience allows her to address both the administrative requirements that follow a death and the advance planning decisions that can help clients manage and transfer assets.

Elise Gross has served as an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University since 2010, where she teaches Trusts, Estates and Probate in the Legal Assistant Program. She is also a member of the Boca Raton Estate Planning Council and is involved with the South Palm Beach County Jewish Federation. Her combination of private practice, advanced estate planning education, and teaching experience supports a practical approach to helping clients address estate, probate, and asset protection needs.
