Brian G. Thompson

Brian G. Thompson is a senior partner and one of the founding members of Silverman Thompson, bringing more than thirty years of experience to criminal defense. He began his career as a prosecutor before dedicating himself fully to defense work in 1998. Since then, he has successfully represented thousands of clients across Maryland in cases ranging from DUIs and traffic offenses to serious felony charges, including violent crimes.

Mr. Thompson earned his B.A. from Towson University before completing his J.D. at the University of Baltimore. His education provided a strong base in critical thinking, research, and legal advocacy. These skills prepared him to excel first as a prosecutor and later as a defense attorney. His academic training, combined with courtroom experience, continues to guide his ability to present strong arguments and protect the rights of his clients.
