Anna Ismer has built her career handling criminal law matters and guiding complex cases through trial and appellate stages. With years of experience as a prosecutor and defense attorney, she has worked on felony cases, litigation strategies, and courtroom advocacy. Anna began her academic foundation at the University of Central Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. She went on to receive her Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Ave Maria School of Law. While in law school, she excelled in research, writing, and advocacy, taking part in the St. Thomas Moore Moot Court Competition and gaining valuable experience as a research assistant and tutor.

Anna also earned recognition for her performance with multiple academic awards in legal drafting, contracts, and advocacy. These honors reflect her dedication to the study of law and the development of strong analytical skills. Her time clerking for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and interning with the 20th Judicial Circuit gave her further experience in drafting opinions, preparing legal memoranda, and assisting judges in case preparation.

Anna’s early career included positions as a law clerk in both private practice and corporate legal departments, where she gained experience in real estate and business law. She later transitioned into litigation and criminal defense, serving in roles that required leadership, trial preparation, and management of felony divisions. Through these positions, she strengthened her ability to guide cases effectively and represent clients with diligence.
