Brian Collignon

Brian Collignon is a Kansas-based attorney with a strong track record in personal injury law. Since 2008, he has helped hundreds of injury victims each year recover damages caused by negligent or wrongful actions. His areas of focus include motor vehicle accidents, trucking collisions, workers’ compensation, and nursing home malpractice.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Environmental Science from Mount Marty College. He then completed his Juris Doctor, with honors, at Washburn University School of Law in 2000. During law school, he contributed to the Washburn Law Journal by authoring a piece examining the “Decency Clause” related to arts funding.

Brian began his legal career in 2000 as a defense attorney for several major insurance companies. In that role, he litigated numerous injury cases and workers’ compensation claims. However, wanting to better serve individuals instead of insurers, Brian transitioned to plaintiff representation in 2008, where he has since devoted his practice to helping people.

Brian has tried cases in both Kansas State and Federal District Courts. His advocacy has led to successful jury verdicts, including one that resulted in an insurance company paying more than policy limits due to bad faith. He has also argued before the Kansas Supreme Court, with decisions published in key appellate rulings.

Brian has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers and has earned a place in The Best Lawyers in America.
