Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science degree in political science and Spanish from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas. While attending law school, she served as recruitment officer for Phi Alpha Delta and co-chaired Washburn’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
Jessica’s dedication to service is reflected in her receipt of the pro bono certificate, awarded for completing at least 50 hours of volunteer legal work. This accomplishment highlights her willingness to contribute time and skills to support those in need, ensuring that access to legal assistance extends to underserved communities.
