Brandon Leavitt is an intellectual property lawyer and managing partner of Leavitt and Eldredge Law Firm, whose practice focuses on trademark matters and IP litigation. He represents clients in patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and broader intellectual property disputes, including enforcement actions and infringement defense. A former biochemist, he brings a scientific background to legal problems involving brands, technology, and protected creative work. Brandon earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and his B.S. in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University. Before law school, he conducted scientific research involving hospital-grade antibiotics and became a published biochemist. His technical training provides additional context when handling intellectual property matters involving scientific concepts, product development, and complex evidence. He is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and Colorado and practices directly before federal courts and intellectual property tribunals in connection with his litigation work.

Brandon leads intellectual property litigation involving trademark, patent, copyright, and trade secret disputes. He is admitted to practice before all four federal district courts in Texas and has argued matters before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. His experience includes enforcement actions, infringement defense, oppositions, and other contested proceedings. He has also been admitted pro hac vice in federal courts in Arizona, Utah, and California for litigation matters involving clients.

Brandon Leavitt has been associated with the firm since 2014 and became a partner in 2019. His professional memberships include the Dallas Bar Association, J. Reuben Clark Law Society, BYU Management Society, Houston Inventors Association, and National Eagle Scout Association. He also supports pro bono and community initiatives involving young inventors and makers. His practice combines scientific training, federal litigation experience, and intellectual property strategy to help clients protect, enforce, and defend commercially important ideas, brands, and creative assets effectively.
