Meagan O. Davis is an associate at Baker Donelson’s Memphis office, focusing her practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and general corporate and business law. She assists clients with structuring, negotiating, and closing complex business transactions, always aiming to help them achieve practical, long-term success. Meagan is known for her attention to detail, her dedication to her clients, and her ability to navigate evolving regulatory requirements with confidence.
Meagan earned her J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2016 and her B.A. from the University of Arkansas in 2013. Her strong academic foundation and early clerkship experience have helped shape her well-rounded approach to corporate matters.
Before joining Baker Donelson, Meagan clerked for the Honorable David S. Kennedy, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Tennessee, and for the Honorable Robert S. Weiss at the Shelby County Circuit Court while in law school. She uses this experience to help clients address corporate finance issues, securities offerings, contract review, and federal and state regulatory filings. She also guides clients through forming and structuring new business organizations, including limited liability companies, partnerships, and joint ventures.
