Benjamin M. Heath, Esquire, is an attorney dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate challenging financial and personal planning matters. His practice focuses on consumer bankruptcy under Chapters 7 and 13, as well as wills, trusts, and estate planning. By combining legal precision with a client-centered approach, he works to provide clarity and solutions during times of uncertainty.
Ben earned his B.A. from Christopher Newport University before pursuing his J.D. at Regent University School of Law. His academic foundation, combined with his professional drive, prepared him to serve clients facing challenging financial situations while also helping them protect their assets for future generations.
Ben is admitted to practice before the Virginia Supreme Court, all courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Throughout his career, Ben has been active in professional associations that strengthen the legal community. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, where he participates in the Young Lawyers Conference and Bankruptcy Law Section. He also serves as a Board Member of the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association.
Additionally, Ben contributes to the American Bar Association through the Solo, Small Firm and General Practice Division, the Young Lawyers Division, and the Law Practice Division. He is also a member of the James Kent American Inn of Court.
