Jeffrey C. Flax

Jeffrey C. Flax is an attorney with Childress Flax & Levine, where he represents clients in business law, real estate, bankruptcy, wills, trusts, and litigation. His practice extends to trademark and copyright law, debtor and creditor issues, and trial practice in all Virginia state and federal courts. For over four decades, he has provided expert counsel and advocacy tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 1977, and then pursued his Juris Doctor at William & Mary Law School, where he graduated in 1980. Shortly thereafter, Jeffrey was admitted to the Virginia State Bar and began practicing law. His education and early experience provided a strong foundation for a career built on integrity, legal precision, and dedicated client representation.

Throughout his career, Jeffrey has been actively involved in professional associations and has been recognized for his significant contributions to the legal field. He served on the Board of Governors for the Virginia State Bar’s General Practice Section and also founded and previously presided over the Virginia Real Estate Attorneys’ League.

In addition, Jeffrey is a member of the Virginia Beach Bar Association and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. From 2006 to 2008, Virginia Business Magazine selected him as one of Virginia’s “Legal Elite.”
