Benjamin D. Bruner is a shareholder at Dickinson, Bradshaw, Fowler & Hagen, P.C., where he focuses on banking and financial services, commercial finance, real estate, and corporate law. He advises lenders and borrowers in loan structuring, documentation, workouts, and restructuring while also guiding businesses and individuals through acquisitions, development, leasing, and financing of commercial real estate.

Benjamin earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Iowa before completing his Juris Doctor at Mitchell-Hamline School of Law, which included study abroad at the University of Oslo. He is admitted to practice in Iowa and Minnesota, as well as before the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa.

Benjamin co-chairs the firm’s real estate group and regularly assists with mixed-use developments, land use, sale-leaseback transactions, and private and public financing matters. His work also extends to corporate transactions, governance issues, and general contract negotiation. He is experienced in judicial and non-judicial foreclosure proceedings, UCC enforcement, and bankruptcy, providing clients with comprehensive counsel in both transactional and restructuring matters.
