Beau Mosman

Beau Mosman is an attorney who focuses on helping individuals and families through difficult legal matters involving family law and criminal defense. After spending several years away from Idaho for school and work, he returned to Moscow to serve the community where he was raised. His background combines legal practice, public service, and academic teaching experience.

Beau earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2017. During law school, he served as managing editor of the UCLA Law Review and editor-in-chief of the Pacific Basin Law Journal. His education helped him build strong research, writing, and analytical skills that continue to support his legal work today. Beau is admitted to the Idaho State Bar.

Beau began his legal career in California after admission to the California Bar. He worked as an associate attorney handling insurance defense matters for a Fresno law firm for two years. That experience gave him practical courtroom knowledge and exposure to complex legal disputes. After returning to Moscow in 2019, he stepped away from private legal practice for a period to focus on nonprofit and educational work.

Beau served as the executive director of Backyard Harvest, a nonprofit organization dedicated to collecting and distributing fresh produce to low-income individuals. During that same period, he also taught at the University of Idaho College of Law as an adjunct professor. Between 2020 and 2023, he taught courses that included Legal Research, Food Law, and Family Law Practice for law students preparing for professional careers.

Beau Mosman later returned to legal practice and focused his work on assisting people facing personal legal challenges in Idaho and Washington. He spent time supporting criminal defense and family law matters before becoming licensed as an Idaho attorney in 2024. Beau values direct client relationships and works to provide thoughtful legal guidance for individuals dealing with stressful and emotional situations.
