April earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2020, graduating magna cum laude. April also holds a Bachelor of General Studies from Indiana University Southeast, completed in 2000. She is licensed to practice in Indiana and Kentucky, including the U.S. District Courts for both states.
