Margaret England is an experienced attorney practicing in Delaware and Pennsylvania, focusing on corporate and commercial litigation as well as corporate bankruptcy and restructuring. She represents both individuals and businesses in a wide range of disputes, including breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of trade secrets, employment contract disputes, and other related matters. Clients value Margaret’s practical advice and extensive courtroom experience, especially in Delaware’s Court of Chancery.
Margaret earned her B.S. from Guilford College in 1995 and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Widener University School of Law in 2002, where she served as External Managing Editor of the Widener Law Review. She is admitted to practice in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and appears regularly before state and federal courts, including the Delaware Supreme Court, Court of Chancery, and Pennsylvania’s Court of Common Pleas.
In addition to her litigation and bankruptcy work, Margaret advises for-profit and nonprofit organizations on corporate governance and management issues. She also represents clients in breach of contract cases and complex lease disputes and has significant experience working with debtors and creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 proceedings. Her broad practice makes her a trusted resource for businesses and individuals facing complicated legal challenges.
Outside her practice, Margaret England is deeply involved in her community. She serves as Board Member, Treasurer, and Finance Committee Chair for the Food Bank of Delaware and is an adjunct professor at Widener University School of Law, teaching legal writing.
