About
Ann Zimmerman is an attorney-mediator at Eggers & Zimmerman Law & Mediation in Salina, Kansas. She provides mediation for clients across central Kansas and beyond. Her work includes family disputes, business personnel conflicts, victim-offender restorative justice, and community controversies. Ann brings three decades of conflict resolution experience to the practice and offers video mediation when a participant is located far away.
Ann earned an elementary education degree from Kansas State University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard. She began professional mediation in 1988 while working as a staff attorney with Kansas Legal Services. Her background combines education, legal training, and direct work in conflict resolution. The practice she now serves was established in 2003, continuing her work helping people address disagreements through mediation.
Ann’s mediation experience spans domestic disputes, workplace personnel matters, employment discrimination claims, elder issues, and higher education concerns. She has also worked with parent-youth challenges, government disagreements, small claims, and farmer-lender disputes. In family matters, her services include parent and spousal disagreements and elder care dilemmas. Her victim-offender work brings the people involved together to address the effects of crime and seek ways to repair harm.
Ann Zimmerman has served as president of the Heartland Mediators Association, now the Heartland Dispute Resolution Association, and the Kansas Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution section. She has also served on the Kansas Supreme Court Advisory Council on Dispute Resolution. She approaches mediation as a way to help people work through difficult conflicts and find a path forward.
