About
David D. Moshier is of counsel at Hampton & Royce, L.C., in Salina, Kansas. His practice includes contracts, real estate, commercial law, and litigation. David is also a certified civil mediator. He has reduced the scope of his practice but continues to practice law, bringing a long professional background to clients dealing with agreements, property concerns, commercial legal issues, and civil disputes.
David earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Kansas State University in 1974. He completed his J.D. at Washburn University School of Law in December 1976. After graduating, he began practicing with the predecessor of his current firm. His business education and legal training provide a foundation for work involving contractual relationships, real estate, and the commercial questions that arise in litigation.
David’s experience combines representation in civil matters with mediation work. His practice addresses contracts and commercial relationships as well as issues involving real estate. As a certified civil mediator, he also has a role in helping parties work through disputes. His transition to of counsel reflects a smaller practice schedule while maintaining his involvement in legal work and continuing to serve clients.
David D. Moshier is a former president of the Kansas Bar Association’s ADR Section. He has also served the Salina community through the Boards of Trustees of the Salina Art Center and the Greater Salina Community Foundation. His background connects commercial legal work, litigation, and civil mediation with professional and community service. He continues to apply that experience to clients’ legal concerns in his of counsel role.
