Andrew J. Kestner

Andrew J. Kestner is a partner at Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP in Vermont. He advises individuals and businesses on transactions, estate and business planning, and tax and financial issues. His practice also addresses business succession and matrimonial matters involving the protection of family wealth. He works with clients at different wealth levels to develop arrangements reflecting their personal, financial, and business objectives.

Kestner holds an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law’s Graduate Tax Program. He earned a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2005, where he served on the Moot Court Board, and a B.A., with honors, from Union College in 2002. His tax education supports analysis of estate and business structures and the financial implications of planning decisions.

Kestner prepares revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, and advanced health care directives. He also negotiates prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, including arrangements involving business interests and generational wealth. Before joining the firm in 2015, he worked at a Boston practice handling complex matrimonial and estate matters. After law school, he clerked for the Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Probate Court.
