Andrew Dwyer, partner at The Dwyer Law Firm, LLC, has been representing employees in harassment, discrimination, and retaliation cases since 1996. He is known for strong trial and appellate advocacy that protects employee rights. Dwyer has argued cases before state and federal courts, including the New Jersey Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court, with many gaining attention for their impact on employment law.
Dwyer earned his B.A. from Harvard College and his J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law. After law school, Dwyer clerked for the Hon. Dickinson R. Debevoise in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He then worked with the ACLU and the Center for Reproductive Law & Policy, litigating constitutional issues nationwide. Since entering private practice, he has tried cases on sexual harassment, age and race discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, and more, helping employees secure justice against unfair workplace practices.
Beyond employment law, Andrew Dwyer has been asked to take on significant cases in other areas, including co-counseling at the U.S. Supreme Court in Gasperini v. Center for Humanities, Inc. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, multiple federal courts, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Dwyer also shares his knowledge through professional associations, presentations, and published articles, contributing to the growth and strength of employment law practice.
