Andrew Alston

Andrew Alston is an accomplished trial attorney with extensive courtroom experience and a proven record of success in both jury and bench trials. He is known for principled advocacy, strategic case development, and a strong commitment to representing individuals facing serious legal matters. His practice at The Philly Lawyers focuses on personal injury, criminal defense, and general litigation, where he consistently advocates for clients with professionalism, diligence, and respect for the justice system.

Andrew earned his B.S. in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Gwynedd Mercy University as an Honors graduate. He completed Emergency Medical Technician training at Jefferson University Hospital and became licensed as an EMT. He later earned his J.D. from Temple University, Beasley School of Law, graduating with Dean’s Honor List recognition. To further strengthen his courtroom abilities, Andrew completed an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy at Temple University, Beasley School of Law, where he received the Faculty Award for Excellent Achievement in Courtroom Presentation and Performance.

Andrew gained valuable federal court experience through intern and extern clerkships in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania during law school. He worked under Chief Judge Juan Sánchez and Magistrate Judge Timothy Rice, developing a strong foundation in legal research, motion practice, and courtroom procedure. Temple Law, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy recognized his trial skills and teaching efforts.

Andrew Alston practiced at one of Philadelphia’s most prominent criminal defense organizations, representing hundreds of clients as lead counsel through every stage of litigation after law school. He later expanded his practice to include personal injury representation, advocating for victims seeking accountability and fair compensation. Andrew also contributes to continuing legal education programs and supports pro bono initiatives, reinforcing his commitment to legal excellence and public service.
