Amanda M. Jones

Amanda M. Jones is a skilled litigation partner recognized for combining practical guidance with strong advocacy. She has represented employers in state and federal courts, before administrative agencies, and in arbitration hearings. Her work covers labor and employment disputes, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, and union grievances.

Amanda completed her Bachelor of Journalism degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating magna cum laude. She later earned her J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, graduating summa cum laude. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Hawai‘i Law Review, further sharpening her legal writing and leadership skills.

Amanda’s employment law practice includes defending companies against complex claims, obtaining dismissals and summary judgments, and prevailing on appeals. She also advises organizations on compliance, provides employee and supervisor training, and conducts workplace investigations. Her work extends to commercial litigation, where she has handled lender liability, foreclosure, unfair trade practices, intellectual property disputes, partnership conflicts, and breach of contract cases.
