Alberto “Papo” Manrara

Alberto “Papo” Manrara is a skilled litigator whose practice centers on representing franchises, business owners, and individuals in high-stakes disputes. He draws on years of courtroom experience, including his tenure as a prosecutor in the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he tried numerous cases to verdict and gained invaluable trial skills that now benefit his clients.

Alberto completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, graduating with honors in Psychology. He remained at UF to earn a Master of Science in Management, also with honors, and was recognized as a Poe Ethics Fellow. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from Villanova University School of Law, where he received the Deirdre L. Bailey Leadership Scholarship and excelled in advocacy and moot court competitions.

Alberto’s career began as a Litigation Paralegal at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York. He then served as a prosecutor in Miami-Dade, where he tried over 50 bench trials and more than a dozen jury trials, and later supervised attorneys as Assistant Chief of the Juvenile Division. These roles sharpened his litigation and leadership skills, preparing him for complex commercial practice.

Alberto has since represented clients in franchisor-franchisee disputes, partnership conflicts, contract breaches, and contested probate matters. His record includes securing favorable outcomes in high-conflict business litigation and guiding clients through difficult proceedings with strategic advocacy. In 2022, his dedication and results led to his promotion to Partner, recognizing his leadership and success.
