Alan M. Dubow is a New York litigator with more than forty years of legal experience. Since 1981, he has focused on Matrimonial Law, Domestic Relations, Family Law, complex commercial matters, real estate litigation, and transactional Business Law, helping clients address serious disputes with skill and steady legal guidance today.
Alan graduated from the New York State University, Binghamton in 1977. He later graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1980. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, the Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals as well.
Alan has appeared extensively and conducted trials in Supreme Courts across Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, and Rockland Counties, as well as in New York City Supreme Courts. His trial work covers family, matrimonial, commercial, and real estate disputes, giving clients experienced representation in demanding legal settings and careful courtroom support.
Alan has also practiced widely in the Appellate Courts of the State of New York. He has successfully argued many cases in both the First and Second Departments. This appellate background demonstrates his ability to handle complex issues, prepare strong arguments, and guide clients through matters before higher courts with care.
Alan has developed a subspecialty in Matrimonial Law as a trained Collaborative Attorney and Mediator. This work gives clients another way to resolve marital disputes outside court. He helps clients work together, make informed choices, and keep decisions about themselves and their children from third parties whenever possible for clients.
Alan M. Dubow is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Westchester County Bar Association, International Association of Collaborative Professionals, and New York Association of Collaborative Professionals.
