Adrienne Woods

Adrienne Woods, Esq. is the Managing Partner of Weinberg Zareh Malkin Price LLP, where she leads the firm’s Restructuring and Creditors’ Rights Practice. With over 20 years of experience, Adrienne offers full-service bankruptcy counsel to individuals and businesses. Her practice spans chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code, and she is known for her innovative and strategic approach to resolving complex financial challenges.

Adrienne earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and began her legal career as a clerk for Hon. Alan L. Gropper, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York.

Adrienne Woods represents both debtors and creditors in a wide range of industries, including real estate, hospitality, healthcare, energy, and retail. Her experience includes advising on distressed asset sales, avoidance actions, claims trading, executory contract disputes, and appellate matters. She is also skilled in defending and prosecuting claims against bankruptcy estates and handling critical vendor and late-filed claim issues.

Adrienne’s experience spans high-profile bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters in courts nationwide. She has represented debtors in major Chapter 11 cases, including CSLT Enterprises LLC and Truline Construction Services, Inc., and has advocated for creditors in prominent restructurings such as Rite Aid, GNC Holdings, and Sears Holding Corporation. Adrienne also advises financial institutions, including BayFirst National Bank, and serves as counsel to asset purchasers and avoidance action defendants in complex, multi-party bankruptcy proceedings.

Before joining WZMP, Adrienne worked at top national law firms and later founded her own practice to deliver white-glove legal services in bankruptcy law. She also served as a Bankruptcy Legal Analyst at Bloomberg Law and currently lectures on bankruptcy topics for TRT CLE.

Adrienne Woods is an active member of the New York City Bar Association and has served on its Social Events and Networking Committee. Her commitment to legal excellence and client advocacy has made her a respected figure in the restructuring and creditors’ rights community.
