Aaron J. Wolff brings a unique and powerful perspective to DUI defense, having started his legal career as a prosecutor for Tukwila and Kirkland. Since transitioning to defense work in 2002, he has dedicated his practice to defending individuals accused of DUI and alcohol-related driving offenses across Washington State.
Aaron earned his B.A. from Emory University in 1995 and graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law in 1999. He began practicing law immediately after, initially gaining prosecutorial experience before becoming a partner at a respected DUI defense firm and later founding his own practice, Wolff Defense.
Aaron is known for his technical expertise and dedication to continuous learning in DUI law. He graduated from the National College for DUI Defense and completed the Drug Recognition Expert Overview Course. As a certified NHTSA-qualified administrator of the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and trained user of the BAC Datamaster device, he uses deep procedural insight to challenge evidence and protect client rights.
In addition to his courtroom advocacy, Aaron has contributed to the legal community as a former Chair of the Washington State Bar Association’s Criminal Law Section. He has been a featured speaker at the Washington Foundation for Criminal Justice’s Annual DUI Seminars and serves on the advisory board of the Cardozo Society.
