He then gained hands-on legal experience working as a law clerk for a prominent criminal defense lawyer. This role sparked his passion for criminal defense. He went on to attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California, where he earned his Juris Doctor before returning to Ohio to build his own practice.
