A. Cale Block

Cale Block is a partner at RMP Law who concentrates his practice on business and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, construction law, real estate, and utilities and regulated industries. He assists small to large-sized businesses with disputes, agreements, transactions, and business sales or acquisitions. Clients rely on his guidance when they need practical legal solutions, careful planning, and support for complex business decisions.

Cale earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 2007. He also received a B.S. in Journalism with a minor in English, summa cum laude with University Honors, from Arkansas State University in 2004. He completed regulatory training through New Mexico State University’s Center for Public Utilities, which supports his work with utility and regulated industry matters.

Cale’s experience includes serving as lead counsel in numerous mergers and acquisitions and closing transactions totaling more than a billion dollars in value. He regularly serves as first-chair counsel in dockets involving regulated industries and has argued issues of first impression for a diverse client base. His practice also includes negotiating and drafting agreements, handling business disputes, and helping clients structure transactions that support long-term goals.

Cale Block has earned an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been named to the Mid-South Super Lawyers list. He is also a licensed mediator and a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and Pulaski County Bar Association. His professional and community involvement includes service with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas & North Louisiana, Arkansas State University leadership groups, and legal mentoring programs.
