Timothy W. Grooms is a Little Rock real estate and banking lawyer who focuses on complex real estate, commercial lending, business transactions, and governmental organization matters. He represents banks, health care providers, real estate developers, owners, brokers, retailers, landlords, and tenants in a broad range of transactional work. His practice includes purchase and sale agreements, leases, commercial loans, and legal guidance for clients across Arkansas and the Mid-South.
Tim earned his J.D., with high honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 1984. He served on the Board of Editors of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Journal from 1982 to 1984. He also earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1981. His academic background supports his detailed approach to real estate, banking, and transactional matters.
Tim has advised lenders and developers on significant projects involving steel mills, lithium projects, retail shopping centers, mixed-use developments, multifamily complexes, affordable housing, office buildings, educational institutions, hotels, hospitals, and medical clinics. His experience also includes negotiating hundreds of retail, office, and commercial purchase and sale agreements and leases. He has contributed to Arkansas banking and real estate law through work on the state banking code, landlord-tenant laws, and other legislative efforts.
