About

Zaira Solano is the founding attorney of Solano Immigration Law Firm, an immigration-focused practice serving clients from offices that include Atlanta and Doraville, Georgia. She founded the firm in 2011 to serve the Latino community and focuses her work on U.S. immigration law. Solano assists individuals, families, and organizations with immigration needs that may involve family petitions, lawful status, and defensive matters in immigration court.

Solano earned a B.A. in Political Science from Georgia College & State University and a J.D. from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. Before and during law school, she gained experience in several legal settings, including a solo practice and firms throughout the Atlanta area. She later clerked with an immigration firm and worked in the Fulton County Public Defender’s Office, Complex Case Division, experiences that strengthened her foundation in client advocacy and legal problem solving.

Solano’s professional background includes early exposure to family law, criminal law, and workers’ compensation before she committed her practice to immigration. Through the firm she founded, she works in a practice that handles individual, family, and business immigration matters, ranging from straightforward family petitions to complex defensive litigation in immigration court. Her experience helps clients understand procedural requirements, assess available options, and move through an often complicated federal immigration system.

Zaira Solano is admitted to the Georgia Bar and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association. She also participates in the AILA Military Assistance Program and serves on the Atlanta John Marshall Law School Alumni Board. Fluent in English and Spanish, Solano emphasizes clear communication and client education, helping people better understand their cases and make informed decisions throughout the immigration process.
