About
Tracie L. Morgan is the founding attorney of Hope Immigration in Atlanta, Georgia, where she focuses on family-based and humanitarian immigration law. She helps individuals and families with immigration matters involving family petitions, humanitarian relief, waivers, naturalization, and complex USCIS issues. Morgan founded the firm in 2012 after several years in immigration practice and built her work around providing clear guidance to people navigating the federal immigration system.
Morgan earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Kansas. She later graduated cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law in 2008. In law school, she served as president of the Immigration Law Society and Legislative Assistant Editor for the Law Review. Her academic and international background supports a practice that requires careful legal analysis, cross-cultural communication, and close attention to changing immigration procedures.
Morgan began her legal career working with a private immigration practitioner in Duluth, Georgia, before opening her own firm in Marietta. Her practice has included humanitarian immigration options for survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence, family immigration matters, and difficult USCIS cases. She also presents to lawyers and community groups on topics including asylum, VAWA, immigrant victims of violence, the Child Status Protection Act, J-1 visas, and USCIS practice.
Tracie L. Morgan serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network and on boards supporting immigrant communities and legal services. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Cobb County Bar Association. Morgan is licensed in Georgia state and federal courts and before the United States Supreme Court, combining immigration advocacy, professional service, and community education in her practice.
