William began his academic journey at Albion College in Albion, Michigan, where he earned his B.A. in Psychology and Business in December 1979. During his undergraduate studies, he was on the Dean’s List, reflecting his consistent academic excellence. He continued his education at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where he earned his J.D. in 1986. While at Pepperdine, he achieved recognition on the Dean’s List, ranked in the top one-third of his class, and received the American Jurisprudence Award for his outstanding legal scholarship.

William’s legal career includes extensive service within the Los Angeles County Superior Court system, where he acted as both a Court Mediator and Judge Pro Term across several judicial districts, including Northwest, Southwest, Central, and North Valley.
