Steve A. Whitworth

Steve A. Whitworth is the founder and lead attorney at the Law Office of Steve Whitworth in Sacramento, California. With more than a decade of criminal defense experience, he has built a strong reputation for his relentless advocacy and client-centered approach.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Davis, in 1989. Before attending law school, he spent several years as head basketball and golf coach at Holy Names University, where he achieved over 130 wins and was named Coach of the Year twice. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from the New College of California School of Law in San Francisco in 2006. Prior to establishing his own practice, he worked at Stanford University School of Medicine as a contracts administrator, managing intellectual property agreements and research contracts.
