William Hoskovec

William Hoskovec, partner at Sandia Family Law, LLC, is a dedicated family law attorney focused on guiding clients through challenging legal transitions with skill, compassion, and a commitment to protecting their present and future well-being. Drawing from both legal expertise and real-life experience, William navigates the complex terrain of family law to secure outcomes that safeguard his clients’ rights and relationships.

Before entering law, William worked in construction, where he learned the importance of building trust and ensuring client comfort before undertaking important projects. While attending the University of New Mexico, where he earned his B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, and later his J.D. from the UNM School of Law, William operated his own business, William’s Rain Gutter Solutions, to support his family and education. This entrepreneurial experience sharpened his skills in client service, problem-solving, and understanding unique needs—qualities that now define his legal practice.

Since founding the Law Office of William E. Hoskovec in 2009 and later joining Sandia Family Law, LLC, William has developed a strong focus on custody disputes, fathers’ and grandparents’ rights, parental and guardian advocacy, domestic violence matters, and kinship guardianships. He is admitted to the New Mexico State Bar, the Federal District Court for the District of New Mexico, and the Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Mexico.

Raised in Santa Fe and residing in the Albuquerque area for over two decades, William Hoskovec is deeply connected to the New Mexico communities he serves. His approach blends practical legal strategies with a genuine commitment to the families who entrust him with their most important matters.
