Will Hellams

Will Hellams brings a powerful combination of public service experience and legal advocacy to his practice. Based in South Carolina, he is a criminal defense and civil rights attorney who defends individuals facing charges, fights government overreach, and represents victims of negligence. Will earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he co-founded the Magnolia Defenders, a student group supporting indigent defense. He served in student leadership as a Student Bar Association Senator and Dean’s Leadership Council member. His training includes hands-on civil rights litigation with the MacArthur Justice Clinic. He also holds a B.S. in Fire Science Management from American Military University.

Prior to practicing law, Will spent two decades in public safety.
