Timothy earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, where he was selected for the highly respected Daniel Webster Scholars Honors Program. This innovative program emphasizes practical skills and client-focused training, ensuring graduates are ready to practice law effectively from day one. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emerson College, which he completed in 2019.
Before joining the firm as an Associate, Timothy gained substantial hands-on experience at Shaheen & Gordon through roles as a Summer Associate and Legal Resident. These positions allowed him to contribute to various practice groups and deepen his understanding of real-world legal practice early in his career. His time in these roles helped him develop a results-driven mindset and collaborative approach to client advocacy.
In addition to his private practice work, Timothy Mainella is strongly committed to public service. He was appointed to the City of Dover’s Commission for Racial Equity and Inclusion, where he served for two years, advancing community conversations around fairness and justice.
