Wendy M. Powell

Wendy M. Powell is the founder of a family law firm serving clients in and around Meridian and Southwest Idaho. Her practice addresses divorce and legal separation, child custody and parenting schedules, guardianships, adoptions, termination of parental rights, contempt motions, and other family-law matters. She represents clients from initial consultation through settlement, mediation, or trial when court resolution is required.

Wendy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Boise State University in 1997, with a minor in English, and graduated from New England School of Law in 2005. Her accounting background can be useful in family matters involving assets, debts, and financial records, while her legal training supports advocacy on custody, support, guardianship, adoption, and related court procedures. She was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 2005.

Wendy opened her own family law practice in 2007 after returning to Idaho. Her firm primarily serves Ada, Canyon, and Gem counties and also handles matters in other nearby counties.
