Amanda Green Alexander

Amanda Green Alexander is the founder and managing partner of Alexander Law, P.A. in Jackson. She leads a litigation practice that represents insurance carriers, businesses, and public entities in commercial litigation, general litigation, premises liability, workers’ compensation, labor and employment law, and other civil matters. The firm also handles family law, wills, and estates. Amanda’s practice combines civil defense work with leadership responsibilities in a firm serving institutional and individual clients.

Amanda earned undergraduate B.A. degrees from Tougaloo College, an MPPA from Jackson State University, and a J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law. Her education spans liberal arts, public policy and administration, and law, providing a broad foundation for litigation involving businesses, public entities, employment relationships, and regulatory concerns. She is admitted in Mississippi state and federal courts and before the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

Amanda has built a career handling contested civil matters while taking active roles in the organized bar. Her work includes defense of commercial, premises liability, workers’ compensation, employment, and related civil claims. She has also served in leadership positions with organizations including the Mississippi Bar, the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations, the Capital Area Bar Association, and the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project, reflecting substantial involvement in professional service and legal-community administration.
