W. Michael Baisley

W. Michael Baisley is an experienced business attorney with Long, Ragsdale & Waters, P.C., focusing his practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, partnerships and LLCs, real estate transactions, securities, banking, and lending law. Mr. Baisley earned his B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from Furman University, where he was active in student leadership and academic committees. He received his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he served as Editor for the Tennessee Law Review, President of the Business & Tax Law Association, and earned the Dean’s Citation for Extraordinary Service.

Admitted to practice in Tennessee, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, Mr. Baisley represents a wide range of industries, including venture capital, healthcare, manufacturing, software, real estate development, oil and gas, private aviation, and construction.
