About
Veronica Gassert is an estate planning lawyer and Associate at Pierce Atwood and works from the firm’s Concord and Portsmouth offices as a member of the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. Her current practice focuses on trusts and estates, supported by earlier experience researching legal issues, drafting memoranda and legal documents, and assisting courts and clients with detailed legal matters. Her background includes judicial clerkship work and practical legal experience involving trusts, agreements, and property-related documents.
Veronica completed Vermont Law & Graduate School’s Master of Food and Agriculture Law and Policy program and later pursued its Accelerated J.D. program. During law school, she served on the Vermont Law Review, including as a Head Notes Editor. Her education included food and agriculture policy work, legal research, and writing. This academic background complements her current trusts and estates practice by strengthening her analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills across legal and policy questions.
Veronica clerked for Ocean County Superior Court Judges Vincent J. Grasso and Therese A. Cunningham in New Jersey. Her work included reviewing cases, researching legal issues, writing memoranda, executing orders, and facilitating communication between court users and chambers. During law school, she interned at Three Rivers Law, PLLC, where she analyzed legal matters, prepared memoranda, and drafted documents that included lease agreements, operating agreements, and trusts for client matters.
Veronica Gassert brings a combination of court, academic, and practical drafting experience to her trusts and estates work. Her earlier legal training included food-system policy research and law review responsibilities, while her clerkship and internship experience developed skills in legal analysis, document preparation, and client-focused problem solving. At her law practice, she applies that foundation to trust and estate matters that require careful review, organized drafting, and attention to the legal details affecting clients’ planning objectives.
